Something i have learned...

Before I presented the project about my family. I asked my mom some questions about my family's history. By asking those questions, i have learned many things that i never knew before. My mom told me about my grandparents and she said that they were from China. That's why my family follows China's culture. And now i knew some special culture of my family. Some of them are very superstitious.
I have also learned a lot of things from my classmates. I have never known that one of my classmate's great-graet-great-grandfather was Nguyen Trai, a famous character in Vietnam's history. Her family posesses a very old book which was from a long time ago, and it was a real family tree. And there is one more thing i found interesting. It was a presentation of another class. It talked about China's culture, a very old culture which didn't exist anymore. It dealt with the women in the past in China. They had to bind their feet securely since they were little. They believed that it showed the sign of wealth. I saw some pictures of them in the Internet. It must be very painful. But i have learned more things from that. It was great to know more about different culture.

  1. Yeah, I was so fascinated about the really interesting culture about binding a women's feet to show richness, but it was a very cruel way...

  3. I agree with you that many interesting and some weird cultures we have never knew as well. But you said the strange activity not anymore, I think it's wrong because now, just a little bit do it in the ethnic so we can't know it sure. By anyway, we had the same culture, Chinese-VietNamese. Finally, Thanks for posting!
